TOP 3 AUTUMN NAIL LOOKS FOR 2024

Happy September everyone 🍂 as the leaves begin to fall from the trees and the chill comes into the air I am patiently waiting for my clients to start getting the burgundy's, browns, reds and sages. 

and in the last few weeks they have DELIVERED! 

So todays blog post will be a mix of my 3 fave autumn designs so far and some predictions of what I think will trend this season 💫....

1. TORTOISE SHELL PRINT

Tortie print has trended for the last couple of years and it is definitely back for 2024. I think this is a design that some nail techs fear however it is actually a super simple design to create once you get the hang of it! You can be quite abstract with it and get creative with colours to match with it.

SOLID TORTIE PRINT

I love this full print look and would love to experiment with it again!

TORTIE PRINT TIPS

When I created this look it went viral and everyone was obsessed, dying to try at their next appointment!

So I had a feeling it was going to be very popular...

I think this look is super chic and reminds me of the pattern inside of some glasses, you know the ones I'm talking about !

2. BROWN WITH CHROME

Chrome, chrome, chrome where do I begin? We entered the world of chrome about 2 years ago when Harley Bieber served us with the "glazed donut nails". However chrome nails and nail art has developed and expanded a huge amount since that time.

There are a lot of more complex looks that can be created with chrome but today we will look at something a little simpler that is ON TREND for Autumn.

Brown gel polish with a white shine chrome ★

This look can be created by applying an icy white chrome to a no wipe top coat. Super simple and sleek for autumn.

I think a blog post will definitely be needed about all things chrome.

3. BLOOMING GEL NAIL ART

Blooming gel nail art has become extremely popular in the last month. There is a lot of potential for autumnal designs with this nail art. By just changing the colour of the set to a deep red or brown it immediately becomes perfect for September/ October.

Blooming gel nail art is extremely trendy on TikTok right now with videos of blooming gel designs and tutorials getting millions of views. I have had multiple clients bringing me "blooming gel nail inspo".

NAIL TECH TIP: 

TOP TIP for all NAIL ARTISTS... if you do not have blooming gel you can also use a gel polish base coat to create the blooming gel effect.

The blooming gel "flower" with some added gold flecks of chrome in the centre is one of the most popular looks right now however I am also enjoying French tips with blooming gel, croc print and snake print.

I am quite confident that blooming gel will continue to trend throughout the entire autumn season.
